1. Consentire a studenti formati in Università delle due sponde del Mediterraneo di incontrarsi in un momento formativo comune e condiviso;
2. Mettere a disposizione di questa platea interculturale uno scambio di conoscenze e una serie di figure intellettuali docenti delle due sponde del Mediterraneo;

Art. 1 – Scholarship Subject
The Mediterranean comes into the spotlight as the focal point of a process striving to be, at the same time, a focal point of economical development, political stabilization and of social and cultural integration as well. The widely-shared belief that there will be no possibility to give everyone access to international checks and balances if the Mediterranean will not be put into the condition to become a “sea of peace” makes all the more urgent the speed of a fruitful encounter, if not of integration already; it makes mandatory all the ways of reciprocal recognition; it also urges to create new ones, taking into account the needs of younger generations, experiencing a tumultuous transformation. Therefore, our School aims at training in the wider sense of the term, opening to experience capable of turning someone into a professional, not only and not mandatorily by academic means. Academic study disciplines (such as historical and geographical ones, Economics, Law and those regarding anthropology and the tutelage of art and environment) must, on one hand, take into account the innovative contribution of intercultural crossing of knowledge and, on the other, are entwined withpreviously stated- the presence and achievement of the working world. The “Cultural Enterprise in the Mediterranean” Summer School aims at reaching a threefold objective:
1. Allow students trained in Universities from both banks of the Mediterranean Sea to meet each other during
a common and shared moment;
2. Giving such an intercultural audience a constant exchange of ideas and many scholars and teachers from
the two Mediterranean banks;
