Abstracts should be submitted by July 15th September 12th, 2011 through EasyChair:
https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=gscp2012
 
Abstracts may be submitted in English, Italian or Portuguese. However, submissions in
English are strongly encouraged. The abstract should have no less than 600 and no
more than 1000 words, title and bibliography excluded.
 
Abstracts should contain:
a) Problem statement
b) Review of current literature
c) Methodology
d) Results: partial or full
 
 
Authors are welcome to indicate whether their preference is for an oral or poster
presentation; however the Scientific Committee will have the discretion of
recommending the presentation format that better suits the abstract proposal.
Accepted abstracts will be published at the conference site after authors’ registration.
Posters and Oral Presentations
Posters and oral presentations will be treated on a par scientifically by the Scientific
Committee. The presentation format distinction is merely associated to medium of
presentation adequacy and does not reflect a scale of scientific relevance. Each oral
presentation session will last for 2 hours. Oral presentations should last for 20 minutes.
Each oral presentation session will have 40 minutes for discussion. Posters will be in
exhibition for the entire conference period. During poster presentation sessions, small
tables will be available for those interested in using their notebooks to support their
poster presentation.
 
Publication
All accepted papers (both oral presentations and posters) will be open source, ISBN
published. The conference organizers are exploring the possibility of a selected paper
volume publication. Paper format: four pages long according to the template that will
be available on the conference site.

Deadline for reduced fee registration: October 15, 2011
Deadline for regular fee registration: November 30 2011
Deadline for registration for participants with presentations: December 30, 2011
Deadline for submission of full paper: April 15, 2012
